Nikita has spent more than a decade teaching children privately and in small groups, alongside ten years in management, strategy and marketing.

Along the way, she became fascinated by something worksheets rarely reveal: why a child gives the answer she gives. Mindfloss grew from that question. Every topic, practical and Exam Bridge in the programme is designed around the gaps Singapore primary students actually carry into their exams.

Through the year

A Block is 12 weekly sessions of 2.5 hours. There are four Blocks a year, timed around the school year. Classes are grouped by her school level in 2027 (P3, P4 or P5), with at most six girls each. P3 meets on Saturdays; P4 and P5 meet on Sundays.

Block 1 starts in December, so she meets her new level before school does. ✦

Most of her new level's topics, introduced from the very beginning, plus timed practice before her first school assessment.

Block 2 · 20/21 Mar – 12/13 Jun

Make it stick

Finish the new topics, then bring earlier ones back so nothing fades, with exam-style practice ahead of her mid-year assessment.

Block 3 · 26/27 Jun – 18/19 Sep

Think deeper

Multi-step, cross-topic problems that turn understanding into confident reasoning, with practice ahead of her Term 3 assessment.

Block 4 · 2/3 Oct – 18/19 Dec

Finish strong

End-of-year exam practice, then repairing what her paper showed, then a first look at next year's topics.

New girls join at the start of a Block. No classes on the Chinese New Year, Labour Day and National Day weekends. Fees are shared at the Discovery Session.

Pioneer Families

The Mindfloss method was developed over years of private teaching, misconception by misconception. Block 1, starting 12/13 December 2026, is when it opens to more girls. Every family who joins then becomes a Pioneer family.

Part of it from the start

Six girls per class. Three levels. One educator. Pioneer families help shape what Mindfloss becomes, and their daughters are the first to grow up with it.

A thank-you that lasts

Every Pioneer family receives S$200 off each Block fee, and it stays with her as she moves up, all the way to graduation.

Only for families who enrol for Block 1. It won't be offered to later intakes.

Questions parents ask

Primary Maths and Science tuition for girls, answered.

Is Mindfloss tuition or enrichment?

A bit of both. Like tuition, it follows the MOE Primary Maths and Science syllabus for her level. Unlike most tuition, classes are capped at six girls and built around understanding each concept, explaining it in her own words, and then applying it in exam-style questions.

Which levels do you teach?

Girls in Primary 3, 4 and 5 (by their 2027 level). If your daughter is in P2 now, she can join the P3 class starting in December 2026.

Do you teach Maths and Science separately?

No. Maths and Science are taught together in every session, so she joins both. Linking the two helps concepts stick.

Does it help with school exams and PSLE?

Yes. Every topic follows the MOE syllabus, and our Exam Bridge sessions practise the question types used in school Weighted Assessments and end-of-year exams, so her foundations are strong well before PSLE in P6.

How do the classes work?

Classes run in 12-week Blocks of weekly 2.5-hour sessions, four Blocks a year. P3 is on Saturdays; P4 and P5 are on Sundays. Each class has a maximum of six girls.

Where are classes held?

In central Singapore. The exact address is shared when you book your Discovery Session.

What if she misses a class?

She can attend up to two weekday make-up sessions per Block.

What if Nikita can't teach a session?

If Mindfloss ever has to cancel a session, it is rescheduled as a full session. If that isn't possible within the Block, it is credited to the next Block or refunded pro rata, so she never loses a session.

Why girls only

Singapore's girls are among the world's best.
So why is a gap opening up?

TIMSS, one of the world's largest studies of Maths and Science learning, tests Primary 4 children every four years. Its latest results show boys pulling ahead of girls, in Singapore and around the world. It starts in primary school.

Singapore's P4 boys outscored girls in Maths by more than 10 points in TIMSS 2023. In 2003 and 2015, it was the girls who were ahead.

of the education systems tracked across TIMSS cycles saw P4 boys significantly outscore girls in Maths in 2023, the highest share since TIMSS began in 1995.

International researchers find that girls consistently report lower confidence in Maths, and that confidence is closely linked to results. Singapore's girls are already highly capable. Mindfloss makes sure her confidence, her voice and her willingness to try, get it wrong and try again keep pace with that ability.
